Most absinthe is green in color known as Absinthe “Verte” or “Green Fairy”– the green hue coming from soaking botanicals directly in the spirit. Wigle’s style absinthe, often referred to as “Bleue,” is bottled clear in color, less bitter, cleaner, and slightly sweet.
